Senior Reliability Systems Engineer

At the Boeing site in Herndon, Virginia, our engineers design, build, deploy, operate, and maintain a wide variety of mission critical platforms and systems for commercial and government customers.
A' For this position, we are looking for a highly motivated team member for our Systems Engineering Capability to support proprietary programs being performed for US government customers who are responsible for exciting national security missions.
A' As a Senior Reliability Systems Engineer you would provide vital mission assurance support for advanced systems on several proprietary programs.
The Reliability Engineer will perform system reliability, safety, and hazard analyses to assure mission success.
The Maritime Undersea--Integrated Missions portfolio for which these programs are a part, include teams in Huntington Beach CA.
This position may provide the occasional opportunity to travel to the Huntington Beach facility to accomplish knowledge transfer and collaboration with the technical team there.

Responsibilities:
A' Maintain Program Reliability and Maintainability PlansProduce Subsystem Hazard Reports including mitigation recommendationsGenerate Inspection and Analysis reports associated with system reliability, safety, and availabilityProviding Environmental Stress Screening profile recommendationsChairing Failure Review Board (RFB) meetings for investigation of repetitive or safety related failuresGenerating Inspection & Analysis reports associated with safety, reliability & availabilityDefines maintenance actions, MTBFsThis position requires an active US Top Secret/ SCI Security Clearance, for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Experience:
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (eg Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (eg PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience).
In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

This position offers relocation based upon candidate eligibility.
Basic relocation will be offered for eligible internal candidates.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
