Assistant Chief Engineer
Complete Building Services supports over 100 different commercial properties in the Washington DC metro area.
We are hiring an Assistant Chief Engineer to take on a portfolio in Rockville, MD.
They will work hand in hand with our client and our Field Supervisor to ensure the building is running at top efficiency.
Your day to day will vary and your duties could include:
Providing Quality Control services for the work of subordinates and subcontractors to ensure maximum efficiency, economy, and quality of work performed Performing diagnostic and repairs on building systems Performing HVAC, plumbing, electrical and life safety system repairs Preparing work schedules Maintaining records and prepare required reports Coordinating and schedule maintenance and repair work on a daily basis Preparing and issuing solicitations for the Contractor as necessary for the acquisition of goods and services in support of the contract requirements You Should Have The Assistant Chief Engineer shall possess the following minimum qualifications Universal CFC 5
years of building engineering experience Demonstrate expert working knowledge of engineering and building systems Ability to plan, organize and meet deadlines Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and project tracking software Ability to read, review and understand blueprints Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage subordinates and multiple projects in a fast pace environment EOE/M/F/Vet/Disabled Why You'll Love Working With Us Complete Building Services (CBS) is a company that is passionate about the operation and maintenance of buildings/facilities in the commercial and government sectors.
