The ideal candidate will come with the following:
A strong clinical background in critical care, preferably within the Intensive Care Unit - ICU At least 4-5 years of nursing experience in critical care At least 1-2 years of experience as an educator.
BSN is required MSN preferred.
Salary & Compensation :

Current MD license as a Registered Nurse or the ability to apply for one At least 3-5 years of critical care experience At least 1-2 years of experience as an Educator Certification in the specialty area within 1 year of hire BSN required, MSN preferred Strong computer skills Solid work history Job Requirements:
Provide continuing education program for nursing staff Implement educational programs for nursing staff Provide education through demonstration and return demonstration for specific skills/procedures Promote health education and programs Perform routine patient care and education activities Improve the quality of nursing care for all patients through education Provide appropriate diabetes education to hospitalized patients Evaluate education programs and orientation of staff Provide diabetes self-management education and training for diabetes patient population Develop monthly staff education calendar for ongoing education/supervision needs of nursing department staff Develop, plans, and maintain an effectivestaffinfection controleducation program Provide continuing education program for nursing staff Develop education programs for medical/surgical staff Supervise nursing care staff in the provision of patient care Provide clinical education, training, mentoring and evaluations to nursing and patient care staff Meet the education needs of nursing services and professional development of the nursing staff Provide appropriate education and training for clinical staff Support staffs through education to care for patients Provide clinical education and development throughout the hospital Act as an education resource to nursing community and health care team.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
