As a Business Analyst, you will be on the cutting edge of making an impact on GEICO's competitive position and have an impact on GEICO's business processes. Business Analysts may have responsibility to optimize GEICO processes, ensure compliance with Federal / State regulations, benchmark GEICO's competitors, or communicate with State Insurance departments.
A typical day may include identification of root causes, developing pilot procedures, ensuring quality control, analyzing large datasets or maintaining GEICO's rating systems. You will also have an opportunity to present your proposals to senior management which is critical to the decision making process.

Minimum
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a quantitative or business field of study (minimum GPA - 3.0)
Ability to work independently
Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving experience
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Highly proficient in MS Office Applications (including Word, Excel, and Access)
Preferred
Qualifications:
Experience coding/modeling using SAS, SQL, or R
Demonstrated leadership experience
1-3 years of prior work experience in a related field
Relevant work or internship experience
Commitment to insurance studies
Salary Information:
Starting salary $54,000 - $65,000 (commensurate with education and experience)

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
