Day to day responsibilities of this position include:
- Provide support to Application teams to make sure that all Infrastructure needs are met.
- Web Administration for both internal and public web sites.
- Work with Microsoft platform systems including IIS, .Net Framework, Fiddler, AppFabric, and Biztalk.
- Develop standards and governance for Microsoft platform configurations for applications within Microsoft's Dynamic Data Center.
- Provide level 2 support for Microsoft Platforms in MTE supported environments including non-business hours.
- Automation of operational tasks using Powershell and MS Orchestrator.
- Deployment of IIS hosted .Net applications as part of the Application Release process.
- Creation, orchestration and maintenance of file transmission scripts using Biztalk and Windows Scheduler, over FTP/SFTP with PGP encryption.
Skills needed to fill this role:
- Experience developing PowerShell scripts to manage Microsoft Technologies
- Strong knowledge of FTP/SFTP configuration and support is highly desirable.
- Strong understanding of the Microsoft platforms systems including Windows Server, .Net Framework (all versions), IIS 7.5 & 8.0, SQL Server 2008 & 2012, BizTalk, AppFabric, Azure, MS WebDeploy, TFS.
- Good understanding of Private Cloud concepts and frameworks.
- Demonstrated ability to research, analyze, develop, and implement large scale enterprise solutions using Microsoft technologies
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - including verbal, written, and presentation. Ability to tailor communication to audience.
Desired Skills:
- Broad understanding of enterprise web based technologies/applications.
- Understanding of service oriented concepts and frameworks
- Exposure to the Microsoft System Center suite, including Virtual Machine Manager, Configuration Manager, Operations Manager, Service Manager.
- High level understanding of IT Service Management, ITIL, MOFEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
