WeddingWire seeks full-time Accounting Manager who plays a key role within the Accounting and Finance Group
About You:
You can manage the month-end processes and reconciliation of all accounts receivable related accounts including bad debt, revenue and deferred revenue.
You can assume responsibility for all accounts receivable related data in the general ledger, invoicing, payment and supporting systems.
You can ensure timely and accurate invoicing of clients, collections from clients and application of client payments, posting of cash receipts.
You can collaborate with Finance, Sales and Operations to implement efficient, effective, repeatable and scalable processes.
You can resolve account issues as presented by executives, clients or the sales team.
You can be accountable for reviewing & meeting collections forecasts.
You can maintain financial security by establishing and ensuring the observance of internal accounting controls, particularly customer credit card information.
You can ensure correct client set-up for all customers in multiple systems, and maintenance of approved customer contract information.
You can review both monthly and out-of-cycle invoices.
You can support the developmentEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
