The Community Administrator position exists at specific multi-use Equity Residential apartment communities that offer a wide variety of commercial and retail amenities and third-party services. This position is responsible for ensuring efficient and accurate management of our residents' accounts in order to achieve operational excellence, and customer loyalty and retention. This position handles the accounts receivable, accounts payable activities associated with leasing and ensures that our property management systems are current and accurate for the property's financial reporting. The Community Administrator will directly interact with current residents and prospective residents throughout the leasing cycle, providing superior customer service to our residents.
Essential Functions:
o Account Management: Accurately and efficiently prepares and assists with leasing paperwork. Collects and posts security deposits, rent and all other payments associated with prospects and resident move-ins. Makes daily bank deposits. Processes invoices in the maintenance invoicing system.
o Resident Relations / Customer Service: Provides exceptional customer service to residents by responding to resident inquiries, and addressing concerns by identifying resolutions quickly.
In addition, this position may require a background with subsidized housing. Specific duties include maintaining current knowledge of federal and state subsidy programs; maintaining a tenant population that meets the program eligibility requirements and is in compliance; ensuring all tenants are recertified annually in accordance with federal regulations. Processes subsidy billing in accordance with the Housing and Urban Development (HUD) regulations as well as the state housing government agency.
A high school diploma is required; a college deEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
