Application Support Analyst - VoIP Our direct Fortune 500 client is in need of an Senior Application Support Analyst for a 6 month, contract to hire position in Chevy Chase, MD. You will be responsible for: - Design, development, implementation and maintenance of VoIP telephony initiatives for the client's contact centers and Back Office - Develop an understanding of the client's VoIP deployments, including understanding the entire call flow for an enterprise and appreciate the big picture when designing call routing solutions - Interface with business customer and peer IT teams to develop and analyze requirements and solution/system delivery - Creating test cases, conducting all phases of release testing, submitting JIRA requests for system issues, troubleshooting and submitting change control requests for system updates - Testing a variety of presentation layers, including web-based application testing, along with Back End database and Mainframe validation - Supporting Telecom Release Process including automated regression and performance testing - Develop process and procedures for implementation and operational support of systems - Project management and oversight; perform risk evaluation, issue management, etc . - 24x7 production support and technical support to team and customers Overtime: straight time - Effective verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate with all levels of associates and management teams - Proven experience in end-to-end problem determination/troubleshooting system issues - Proficient in MS Office product set: MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Visio, Project - Proven Project Management experience working on large complicated plan items - Understanding of regional call centers high level business processes a plus: - Experience in systems analysis with strong data management and problem solving skills - Experience with testing a variety of presentation layers, including web-based application testing, along with Back End database validation - Experience finding solutions for complicated problems using data analysis techniques - Microsoft Access Database development experience, Cisco's VoIP Call Manager/Contact Center Knowledge, Telecommunications back-ground preferably with VoIP experience MYK62683JR
