Splunk Systems Engineer Our direct Fortune 500 client is in need of 2 Senior Splunk Systems Engineers for their location in Chevy Chase, MD. You will be: - Sharing responsibility for the administrative support of the Splunk product for installation, upgrades, configuration and maintenance. - Participating in face-to-face customer meetings to determine monitoring and log consolidation needs. - Performing installation of universal, heavy forwarders, indexers, deployment and license management Servers. - Performing data management including index administration, routing and data retention. - Configuring data inputs, file precedence, roles, users and authentication. - Troubleshooting Splunk, using internal queues and processing. - Creating automated scripts to assist with installation and configuration of products, and schedule and verify automated installs and upgrades. Overtime: straight time - 3 years of Splunk experience MYK62683JREstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
