We are looking for a driven, dynamic, and committed Recruiting Coordinator to support the Talent Management team within the People & Culture function at HHMI.
In this role, you will report to our Manager, Headquarters Recruiting, and focus much of your time on supporting the hiring activities for various departments based out of our Chevy Chase office.

What you'll do:
Support Recruiters and hiring managers in our full-cycle recruitment process including candidate screening, both virtual and on-site interview scheduling, facilitating all aspect of on-site interview logistics, gathering professional references, processing employment background checks, etc.
Focus on creating a stellar experience for every candidate by providing timely communication on recruitment process, sharing HHMI's employment value proposition, and answering candidate questions.
Manage and coordinate candidate travel arrangements and expense reimbursement process.
Assist with set up, organization and management of virtual and in-person career fairs and recruiting events.
Manage timely posting/un-posting of job advertisements on internal and external job postings sites.
Submit and reconcile talent management team's invoices in a timely manner.
Support recruiters with passive candidate sourcing efforts by networking and cultivating relationships with target candidates for various roles.
Update and maintain recruitment process resources (e.
g.
, interview and feedback templates, reference check templates, etc.
) and external and internal career pages content as needed.
Support with other administrative tasks as assigned.
What you bring:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, or similar discipline required or a combination of education and related experience.
Minimum of one year of operational experience supporting a recruitment team.
Proficiency in working with technology systems (e.
g.
, Applicant Tracking System, Workday, Zoom, MS Office, and SharePoint) preferred.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Dependable ability to complete assigned duties in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Ability to take initiative and ownership of assigned tasks.
Excellent attention to detail.
Ability to build trusting relationships, encourage collaboration, and thoughtfully navigate interpersonal dynamics across the organization to provide high quality service.
Resourcefulness in handling several priorities within designated timeframes and adapting approaches to shifting demands.

Hourly HHMI's salary structure is developed based on relevant job market data.
HHMI considers a candidate's education, previous experiences, knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as internal equity when making job offers.
Typically, a new hire for this position in this location is compensated between the minimum and the midpoint of the salary range.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
